I’ve been catching up on a backlog of poker blog reading…
If I had a nickel for every time blogger ate someone’s post, I’d be able to move up in limits. Sheesh.
Now, I’m no expert in blogger’s software (I’d venture to guess that I’m the sole poker blogger using the extensible, customizable, self-documenting real-time display editor, and I won’t even get into the virtues of using a tool so powerful), but it seems like an easy thing to write one’s post in a tool that will allow one to save said post to one’s hard drive occasionally. Then, when ready to publish, a quick copy and paste should do the trick.
Notepad, anyone?

There is also a new, free downloadable add-on for Microsoft Word (for the Office junkies) that allows you to write your posts in Word and publish them directly from Word. Find that one at the Blogger.com site. Or, a tool I discovered thanks to Glyphic that I like to use for writing/saving posts and then publishing from the same interface – W.Blogger – http://www.wbloggar.com/.
Once I suffered Blogger eating a post once, I was permanently converted to alternative and more sensible tools :)
wbloggar rocks my socks. I prefer it to either Blogger or MT’s interface. But not as much as I like the e.c.s.r.d.e., of course.
hey, couldn’t find a better place to put this..
phil mentioned your site on the show tonight, did a ‘best quotes from the show’ segment using a lot of quotes from your site.
maybe he’s not so antagonistic toward the fansites after all…
